Good afternoon everyone!
On Friday, we received an email saying that students do not have access to teams, so instead, I have created a google classroom. In order to join the classroom, you must have a gmail account. If you currently do not have one, it is simple to create an account and join. The steps to joining the classroom are as follows:
Go to classroom.google.com.
At the top, click Add, Join class.
Enter the class code your teacher gave you and click Join.
Class codes are the following:
Intermediate Mixed: cxa3zkl
Advanced Women's: bs6tr64
If you are unable to join the classes, I have listed below all of the work that needs to be completed each day. I have sectioned it off by day to make it easier for comprehension. If you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Monday: Watch first 30 minutes of Leonard Bernstein's Young People's Concert "What is Melody?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCSv0YcqWow
Tuesday: Watch second 30 minutes of Leonard Bernstein's Young People's Concert "What is Melody?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCSv0YcqWow
Wednesday: Answer Questions (see attachment sent in email. If you did not receive the email, please email me, and I will send the attachment to you) and turn in via google classroom or via email.
Thursday: Using the information gathered from the video assignment, create a melody that is catchy and unforgettable. It may be in a major or minor key. Your video must contain at least one quarter note/rest, one half note, and two sixteenth notes. This assignment needs to be at least 30 seconds long, but not exceeding one minute and thirty seconds. Please use Thursday, March 19th, to brainstorm ideas, and Friday, March 20th, to record and submit your video. If you have any questions, please email me. If you are unable to access the flipgrid, please email the videos to ericka.palmer@cobbk12.org

Once again, my office hours will be M - F 11am - 2pm. Let me know if you have any other questions. I hope you all have a safe and healthy break.
Sincerely,
