Good afternoon everyone.
In lieu of the corona virus, starting Monday we are going to online classes indefinitely. Unfortunately, LGPE is canceled as well. I am very proud of the work we have put into getting the music and sight reading together. It’s a shame that we are unable to attend, but the work we have done these last couple months shows the dedication these students have to the program. That means more to me than the actual performance!:)
Regarding classwork for the weeks ahead, Cobb County School District has mandated the students will be assigned 30 minutes of work per class each weekday. My plan is to assign video lectures and questions that pertain to vocal health, music structure and themes found throughout music. All assignments will be found in Microsoft teams after 6pm on Sunday. Students will spend 30 minutes one day looking over the questions and watching the videos, then the next day take 30 minutes to answer the questions. Each written assignment will be assigned Monday and due Wednesday or Wednesday and due Friday. If uploading to Microsoft teams does not work, then the student will be able to email the worksheet to my school email: ericka.palmer@cobbk12.org
All information and assignment details will be put on the blog.

Please feel free to email me any other concerns that may arise. Just reiterating: currently there is no information on the blog nor Microsoft Teams regarding assignments. All assignments will be posted to both the blog and Microsoft Teams by Sunday at 6pm.
